We are one of the 47 Children’s Aid Society in Ontario providing protection services under the Child and Family Services Act. We are funded by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services and governed by a local volunteer Board of Directors. We provide prevention services, protection services and supports to children, youth and families in Elgin County in collaboration with our community partners. Our services are varied and depend on the needs of the children, youth and families. We work closely together with families, other community partners and First Nations to provide children and youth with safe, nurturing environments.
Our VISION: All children and youth are safe and have increased well-being.
Our MISSION: We protect children and youth from abuse and neglect by ensuring their safety in a permanent and nurturing environment in partnership with families and the community.
Our VALUES: Child and Youth Centred, Family Focused, Safety , Excellence , Partnerships , Permanence, Diversity and Anti-Oppression
We are comprised of both front-line and behind-the-scene people, working in our offices and in the community.
