This page describes how the Children’s Aid Society collects, uses, discloses (releases) and retains personal information in the provincial information management system (data base) known as the Child Protection Information Network (CPIN).

In the event you wish to see your personal information in your file, please complete the attached General Records consent form and deliver to FACS Elgin via fax, email, mail or in person, or complete the on-line Personal Information / Record Correction Request Form. Once you have reviewed your personal information in your file, if you wish to request a Record Correction please complete the attached General Records consent form and deliver to FACS Elgin via fax, email, mail or in person, or complete the on-line Personal Information / Record Correction request form.
